PRIVACY POLICY

You will be asked to provide VERBAL INFORMED CONSENT for any information provided by you to be collected for the purposes of assessment and counselling by Lisa Menzel of Well Within Counselling.

Your information and details will be kept confidential unless you disclose harm to yourself or others. This includes physical or sexual abuse, violence and/or neglect.

Lisa Menzel of Well Within Counselling has a duty of care to protect you and will use mandated & professional discretion in relation to breaking confidentiality.

If confidentiality is appropriately interrupted, the services that might be informed are the relevant & appropriate emergency services &/or state/federal departments. Parents will also be informed for minors.

You do not have to provide information that is not relevant to this assessment or support (although this may have implications for the level of service that can be provided).

CANCELLATION POLICY

ALL TYPES of counselling sessions including ONLINE, TELEPHONE & IN-PERSON counselling are required to be pre-purchased 24-hours PRIOR to the allocated BOOKING TIME, via Direct Transfer (PayID - preferred patment method) or PayPal (paypal.me/WWCounselling) The payment will secure the booking.

Appointments may be scheduled in advance via the website booking form (using the BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME tab), email, text, Messenger, WhatsApp or phone call to discuss informed consent & any other relevant information.

If the scheduled session is CANCELLED BY YOU (the client), after payment is made & with LESS THAN 24 hours’ notice provided, then the FULL SESSION FEE will apply. 

If the session is CANCELLED BY WELL WITHIN COUNSELLING (Lisa Menzel), after payment is made & with LESS THAN 24 hours’ notice provided, then the FULL FEE will be refunded.

If the session is POSTPONED BY YOU (the client), the FULL SESSION FEE will be carried forward to the new session appointment time & the cancellation policy will apply to the new scheduled date.

For online counselling sessions, once full payment is made at the time of booking, a video link will be emailed prior to the session commencement, which can be opened at the scheduled session time.
